Changes to Overseas Travel and Security Policy

Following guidance received from the BOA Swim England have revisited the Overseas Travel Policy to include additional security recommendations. The policy provides guidance and advice to members and employees planning overseas trips, including staff travelling on business, national teams competing in overseas competitions as well as club training trips. We have taken this opportunity to review all areas of the policy to ensure it incorporated the best practice elements of the Team Manager training modules and Wavepower to make it a more inclusive policy. We have also included appendices to assist with planning trips. Please read through the new policy carefully and familiarise yourself with the contents. It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Lynne Elliot. Lynne died peacefully at home on Sunday 15th October following a long illness. Our thoughts and prayers are with Chris and his family at this very sad time. David Flack, Chairman of Swim England South West.
Team Bath Coach & Swimmer University Workshop
