Cornwall Representative

Despite not being a particularly good swimmer, Dan’s involvement in swimming is a result of his daughters swimming competitively for Truro City Swimming Club.

Dan is a technical official, working at club, county and regional level and included him representing Cornwall as an official at the ASA Inter County Championships in Sheffield.

Dan is active in swimming administration at club, county and regional level.  He is currently treasurer for both Carrick Masters and Cornwall County ASA, along with being Cornwall’s appointed director for Swim England South West Ltd.

For the 2016/2017 season, Dan was President of Cornwall ASA and until recently, he was treasurer for Truro City Swimming Club.

Outside swimming Dan is an active volunteer with a number of organisations in his home village. In his professional life, he is a partner in Tor Mark, a publishing company which specialises in UK-based local interest books.
