Coach and Swimmer University Workshop

All Coaches welcome along with swimmers in final year of GCSE and above

The Aim:

The aim of this workshop is to provide coaches with an education session which will be useful for their continuous development. Allowing them to bring their swimmers thinking about University in the next 3 years to find out what to expect at University and also to experience training with a senior group of swimmers.

When: Wednesday 25th October

Time: 1pm - 5pm

“Coaches’ Strand”:

1pm Meet in the Cafe of Sports Training Village

1.15pm - 2.30pm Lecture - Dr Andrei Vorontsov - Specificity of Training

2.45pm - 5pm Poolside session Pre pool and Swim

“Swimmers’ Strand”:

1pm Meet in the Cafe of Sports Training Village

1.15pm - 2.15pm - What to expect at University

2.30pm - 5pm Poolside Pre pool and Swim

Cost: Coaches £25 Swimmers £5
