Gloucester City Swimming club is seeking to recruit a swim coach to lead its Swim Skills and Club program, and strengthen the overall coaching team.

Gloucester City Swimming Club was founded in 1910 and is the largest club in the North Gloucestershire area. It is based at the GL1 leisure Centre in Gloucester and provides coaching to swimmers at different stages of development including swimmers with disability. It has a strong relationship with local colleges and universities. Over the years we have been top club in the county.

We have produced county records holders, strong Regional, Home Nations and British swimmers including British Para National champions.

Purpose

To develop and lead the swim skills program and support the coaching team under the direction of the Head Coach. To be accountable for: overall success of the program in delivering a strong base of junior swimmers and pipeline for achieving county, regional and national swimming targets; and maintaining diverse local membership.
