Tiverton Swimming Club raised an amazing £440.00 for Children in Need at their “Pudsey Plunge” fundraising event. Eighty Seven swimmers took part aged seven years upwards, including the Masters section of the club.
It was organised by Club Captains and young volunteers. Six teams took part (Ollies Otters, Dangerous Dolphins, Flying Flamingos, Hungry Hippos, Walloping Whales, Cool Crocodiles) in fun relay events ranging from egg and spoon, doggy paddle, surf dude and mega medley, with the Flying Flamingos taking the top spot.
Pudsey made an appearance on the night, making it a fun night whilst raising a substantial amount for a great charity.
Tiverton Swimming Club is proud of everyone who took part in the event and would like to say a special thanks to the young volunteers and club support for making it such a successful event.
