SWR Pathway Camps

This year we will be running the Swimming Pathway Programme in a two camp format, the first being a virtual camp on Zoom and the second will hopefully be a face to face camp to be held later in the year.

Virtual Camp

Date Saturday 5th June 2021

Time 930am to 245pm

Attendees Any CAT 2 registered 12 yr old athlete (age at 31.12.21)

Topics Puberty & Performance (females), training through growth periods (males), Medley turns & transitions, building confidence, Zoom quiz and an inspirational speaker.

Cost Free

As this is a virtual camp we ask that parents attend this with their child, this is in line with Child Safeguarding and online meeting procedures.

Once athletes are booked in via the link they will be sent a Code of Conduct to sign and return which secures their place, the joining link will not be issued to anyone who hasn’t signed a Code of Conduct. We will also issue a timetable to those booked in.

Face to Face Camp

Date and details to be confirmed later in the year.

Selection details The second face to face camp will have a selection criteria applied which will be released later in the year.

Please note attendance at the virtual camp does not guarantee a place on the face to face camp later in the year.
