Angharad Laraman of Weston Super Mare Swimming Club has received the award of Regional Volunteer of the Month for September.
Angharad is a swimmer at Weston Super Mare Swimming Club, she trains several times a week, in addition to her own training schedule Angharad volunteers to help out with the Learn to Swim programme supporting the teachers with their lessons every week, she volunteered to support the recent County championships where she competed herself and then put on her volunteer t-shirt and helped out, the club also recently had their own swimming meet where she helped to coordinate the set up of the event in the evening, then on the day again whilst competing still found time to help the club out and support us.
Angharad is never afraid to help out and support others even though she is training herself, she is selfless and very supportive young lady and is a credit to her family and the club.
