Team Bath AS Safeguarding Workshop

Team Bath AS have organised a Safeguarding and Protecting Children Course with UK Coaching (SportsCoach UK) presented by tutor Steve Boocock. It is at a reduced price compared to those provided by the County Sports Partnerships

Date: Saturday 24th November

Time: Arrive 9.30am for a start time of 9.45am, finish 12.45pm (3 hours)

Who is it for?

The following volunteers need to attend this workshop if they haven’t got this certificate:

• Team Managers (holding the Team Manager module 1 qualification or planning to do their team manager course shortly).
• Committee members including: Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, Welfare officer, Communications Manager, Membership Secretary
• Coaching staff and poolside helpers who have not done a Safeguarding course before.
• Those who are due to renew their Safeguarding certificate but do not wish to do the online renewal course.

You do not need to have any prior knowledge to attend and the certificate last for 3 years. 

Price per candidate £20 payable upon booking a place by your home club. I will need the following details please.

• Name
• Contact number
• ASA number (if they have one)
• Club name and role within their club

For this SPC workshop, the attendees must be over 16 years or older. If the candidate is age between 16-18 year olds please make arrangements to give me details of their date of birth and the details of a chaperone that will accompany them throughout the course.

There are only have 20 places available and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The deadline for booking will be Wednesday 21st November as I will need ensure we have ordered the correct number of resources.
