Applications for Skills Coaches for the Regional Programmes are Now Open

** Application Period Extended to 19th July 2023 **

We are pleased to be able to announce the applications are now open for Skills Coaches to support with the delivery of the Regional Development Programme and the Regional Distance Development Programme from September 2023 to July 2024. 

We will be running two Development programmes this season: 

Regional Development Programme

48 x 13yr old athletes selected from Long Course 200m IM rankings, split into two age blocks (those born before June and those born after June). 

Two Pool Camps at Millfield School on 17.09.23 and 26.05.24

One online Session 02.03.24 

Coaches must have a Swim England Coach Qualification (or equivalent) are expected to attend all three sessions.

Regional Distance Development Programme

48 x 12-15yr olds selected from 800m and 1500m Long Course rankings. 

One Pool camp at Millfield on 26.11.23

One online session 09.03.24

One Open Water Lake session on 01.06.24 at Lake 86 Cotswold Water Park. 

Coaches must have an Level 2 Open Water Qualification (or equivalent) and are expected to attend all three sessions.
