The three Wiltshire para boys were at it again at the National championships held in Liverpool over the weekend 2/3 March.
Matthew Davies now with Clearwater Congers was in fine form winning a bronze and a Silver Medal. He also managed to PB in 3 events including a massive 39second PB in the 400m freestyle and a 3 second PB in his 100m Freestyle. Matthew has also been winning away from the pool. He was nominated and declared the local radio Spire FM Local hero, then he went on to win the award for Disability swimmer achievement award for the local paper The Salisbury Journal. So far, a good year for Matthew.
Ethan Dent and Aidan Stanbrook who are at Durrington Otters also had a fine time at the Nationals with Ethan coming away with possibly the best result out of all three as he had 3 swims, 2PB’s and with that “silver and a gold medal haul for his efforts Well Done Ethan. Meanwhile Aidan was not to be outdone and added his haul of a silver in his 50m freestyle followed up with a bronze medal in each of the 100 Backstroke and 100freestyle.
